Support

Since its humble beginnings in 1916, The Foote School has cherished its enthusiastic, supportive community. We consider our families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends as partners in our promise to deliver the best possible experience to our students.

Each gift, no matter the size, makes a difference to our small community, and empowers Foote students to:

  • lead with compassion and courage,
  • embrace diversity and discovery;
  • and be their authentic selves.

Your generous gifts help us not only sustain but enhance the academics, arts, athletics, and traditions that are hallmarks of The Foote School experience. We invite you to join our culture of philanthropy. Your contributions today will inspire the next generation of Foote students to change the world.

Foote was more than a school to my brother [Aditya '99] and me. As newcomers to the States, it was our first community and extended family. We are indebted to Foote not only for affording us a phenomenal education but also for the kindness and encouragement shown to us during our time there.

Why Give?

Like all independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of providing an exceptional education for every Foote student. We rely on philanthropic gifts to balance our budget each year.

We are committed to providing financial aid to families who could not otherwise afford tuition. Last year we were able to provide $2.6M in financial aid to new and returning families, including supplementing transportation, field trips, and extracurricular activities. Our ability to provide financial aid only serves to strengthen our diverse, inclusive community and enhances our students’ depth of experience.

Community is at the heart of the Foote experience. When you volunteer your time on behalf of the school, you are leading by example, and cultivating our vibrant community of learners. Contributions of time and talent enable our school to thrive and inspire our talented teachers, inform an innovative curriculum, and enhance our diverse community.

Fourth graders spend weeks sculpting clay candle houses in art class. For a few glorious moments, their creations light up a darkened Sandine Theater as part of a winter-themed celebration.
