Ann became Director of Development in 1998 after serving on Foote’s Board of Directors. Her three children, Sam ’00, Leah ’04 and Clay ’10, are proud Foote alums. She serves on the board of Horizons at Foote, the school's summer program for low-income New Haven public school students, and chairs the board of Leadership, Education and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP), an afterschool and summer enrichment program in New Haven.
A Foote grad and parent of twin sixth graders, Julien and Sophie, Amy joined the Development Office staff in 2006. She coordinates the Foote Fund each year, as well as planning alumni events around the country. Amy is a tutor at New Haven Reads.
Debbie returned to Foote in 2013 and coordinates the gift entry and acknowledgement process, matching gifts, and reporting. She plays a central role in preparing for campus events like Grandparents Day and Graduation. Her son, Nicholas, is an eighth grader.
Amy coordinates Grandparents Day and Reunion Day, oversees the office’s database and supports the Centennial Campaign Steering Committee. Her two children, Charlie and Ellie, are in grade 4 and Kindergarten. Amy has experience at two other independent schools, including Fessenden, where she worked for then-Head of School Frank Perrine.
Fourth graders spend weeks sculpting clay candle houses in art class. For a few glorious moments, their creations light up a darkened Sandine Theater as part of a winter-themed celebration.
