The official date of your gift is the date on which the stock is received in Foote’s account. The value of your stock gift is the average of the reported high and the reported low on the date of the gift.

If your employer or a board on which you serve offers a matching gift program, you may be able to double or triple your contribution to Foote School. You may be able to apply directly from your company’s website or download a form or you can speak with the human resources department at your employer. You must make a donation to Foote and submit a completed matching gift form in order for us to process the matching gift. We’ll let you know when Foote receives your matching gift.

The Foote Fund helps annually to bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of educating each Foote student. Your gifts support day-to-day operations—from classroom, lab and library materials to technology, campus maintenance and financial assistance.

Endowed funds provide stable and sustainable support for Foote in perpetuity. An allocation is drawn annually from interest earned. The annual distribution is used to support the purpose designated by the donor(s). The school's endowment currently totals $22 million.

Planned gifts such as bequests or charitable trusts can help secure Foote's future and may have additional financial benefits for the donor. The Foote School welcomes gifts made through different planned giving arrangements. We recommend you contact your own financial advisor and then contact the Foote Development Office.
