Field Day is a long-time Foote tradition, when Maroon and Gray face off in a day of fun and friendly competition — as only Foote can deliver! Get a feel for Field Day — check out the photos and videos below!

We are looking forward to celebrating Field Day on Monday, May 18! Below, you will find important information about the day. While Field Day is a student-centered celebration of teamwork and fun, family members are welcome — but not required — to drop in anytime between 10:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Arrival Information & Schedule
Arrival
Students should arrive at the normal drop-off time. We will follow an X-day schedule. For LS, there are no Specials, and MS students will be notified of any classes that will meet.
Schedule for grades K–9
- 10:15 a.m. — Parade to the lower athletic field from homerooms
- 10:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. — Session 1 activities
- 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. — Lunch (Schoolhouse Fare lunch program or brought from home)
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. — Session 2 activities (plus a treat from the PTC*)
- 3:00 p.m. — Dismissal and pickup (ASP is available after school)
Attire, Lunch & Other Details

Students should wear clothing in their team color or their Field Day T-shirts.

Please make sure your children dress appropriately for the weather, and have sunscreen and extra water, as it will be an active day outdoors.

We also recommend labeling water bottles and clothing layers.

Students should bring their own lunch, plenty of snacks, and water. Schoolhouse Fare lunch ordering is available.

Grades 1–9 should bring their three-legged race tie.

We ask that you kindly stay behind the children and off the playing fields so they can have an unobstructed view of all the events.

Please note: pets are not allowed on the field.
* The PTC will provide popsicles for students who want them ("Popsicle" brand ice pops in flavors orange, cherry, and grape). The ingredients list is found here.
