From the Head of School Planning for Our Next Steps Dear Families,
Head of School All School News Thank a Teacher or Staff Member As we enter Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8), we've created a virtual "kudos board" on our website for you to submit a thoughtful note, a meaningful photo, or a piece of art created at home to thank someone special in the Foote community. Thank you for helping fill the board with love and gratitude for our Foote teachers and staff! All School News How You Can Give & Get Support If you are looking for ways to help Foote community members in need during this challenging time—or if you are in need of support yourself—we invite you to connect with our new support service, The Lift at Foote School.
The Lift at Foote School is confidentially linking families in need of a support service with a family who is in a position to help. Some examples might include picking up groceries and delivering them outside the home, cooking a meal, running an errand, sewing masks, or any number of other ways we can lift each other up.
If you would like to request support, or volunteer to provide it, please email thelift@footeschool.org. Thank you! All School News New: Family Resources Page We have created a new page on our website (in the Distance Learning section) with links to resources to support families and community nonprofits during this time. These include: tips for promoting wellness; virtual tours and museums; stories, music and podcasts; service learning; and ways to engage with the natural environment.
We welcome additional suggestions for this page. If you have a resource you'd like to suggest, please click here to submit it.
