Preethi is involved in Foote’s outreach activities and in MOSAIC, which promotes cultural understanding in the Foote community. Preethi is a lecturer and academic advisor for healthcare in higher education. She also serves as the board secretary of the Calvin Hill Day Care Center and is the board chair of Elena's Light, an area non-profit that promotes the well-being of refugee women and children.
