Meet Beth Mello

Beth provides educational leadership for the Lower School faculty and assists teachers with programming and curriculum development. She works directly with children on character development while ensuring that the school and parents work together in a child’s best interest. Beth facilitates the faculty Diversity Committee, leads Project Adventure with fourth graders and the North Star program for fifth graders, and frequently participates in classroom activities. She became Head of Lower School in 2012 after serving two years as Foote’s curriculum coordinator. Prior to Foote, she held top administrative positions, including principal, at the International School of Curitiba in Brazil, and she is fluent in Portuguese. Beth holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s in Education from Framingham State College.
