After School Program

Families with children in grades K through 6 may enroll them in Foote’s After School Program on Mondays through Fridays for an additional fee. Children enjoy a warm, relaxed atmosphere with a choice of indoor and outdoor options for free play or creative activities, and have use of the gymnasium, library, art studios and technology lab. Thoughtful, caring supervision provides continuity with the school day. The program runs until 5:30 p.m. Minicourses such as yoga, baking and chess are offered in fall, winter and spring, and individual music lessons are offered throughout the year. Older students not participating in after-school sports may remain on campus under After School supervision.

Vacation Program

A full-day vacation program is offered to families during most vacation days during the school year for an additional fee. Special theme days add excitement as children participate in special games and activities such as Olympics Day, Build and Box Day or Detective Day.
The After School Program is like an old-fashioned neighborhood: teachers and students of different ages playing, socializing and having fun together.

Dawn Walsh, After School Program Director

Foote’s After School Program gives students the option to participate in a number of minicourses—from baking to basket making—that extend the discovery of the school day in a relaxed setting.
