Barcelona Day 5

Today we said farewell to Seville and hello to Barcelona, Spain’s second largest city. We woke up very early and boarded the high speed AVE train for the six hour ride. We checked into our hotel and got ready for our two-hour bike ride and tour of Barcelona. We rode in beautiful parks, saw some stunning monuments, including a gorgeous gold statue of Helios, built as part of the Universal Exhibition, celebrating Catalan culture. Before the end of the ride, we stopped at the beach and took in the breathtaking scenery. After a delicious dinner, we are ready for rest and another busy day.
