Rising 3rd grader Zach Tolchin won second place in the 18th annual eesmarts Student Contest, presented by EnergizeCT. The contest "invites students to answer grade level-specific prompts regarding how they would promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and reducing their carbon footprints to their families, fellow students and schools," according to its website.
Zach's poster, "Power Your House with Brain Power," illustrates how different parts of the brain relate to energy-saving measures.
