Falco makes a grand entrance at the first all-school assembly of the year.


Kindergartners and their ninth grade buddies worked together to create painted bamboo sticks as part of the Suspended Moods art installation. Each stick was painted with a color corresponding to the student's mood before being "signed" with the student's gold thumbprint.


Eighth grade English teacher Alison Moncrief Bromage helps her students practice close reading by looking for writing tools author Sandra Cisneros used in the short story "Eleven". Students then wrote down their thoughts on why Cisneros made the choices she did.


Fourth graders race across the gym in an exciting game of three-goal soccer.

Third graders enjoy outdoor play during recess on a cool late summer day.


As part of their year long study of the world and its countries, sixth graders illustrated maps of the world, color coding the continents before adding details such as mountain ranges, deserts, oceans and other waterways.
