Latin Students Get National Nod
Foote Latin class

We're so proud of our learned Latin students! The results of the National Latin Exam are in, and 44 Foote students earned awards!

The National Latin Exam is administered to students across the U.S. (and to international students as well) from elementary to college level. According to the NLE website, "The philosophy of the National Latin Exam is predicated on providing every Latin student the opportunity to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and success in his or her study of the Latin language and culture." Each exam consists of 40 questions that cover grammar, syntax, and Latin sayings/mottos, as well as Roman history, religion, and culture. Awards were given to students who scored above the national average.
