Newsletter: Tips from the Health Office

Autumn is the time to enjoy warm apple cider, leaf peeping and local Fall family activities, but it’s also the start of cold and flu season — and seasonal allergies. Doing what we can to prevent illness and mitigate the spread of germs is key to promoting a healthy school environment where students thrive.
Here's what we can do at home:
- Review proper hand washing technique (wet hands, scrub hands vigorously with soap out of the water, rinse hands thoroughly, then dry)
- Review sneeze/cough etiquette (into one's elbow - wash hands)
- Remind students to limit touching one's face and to wash their hands routinely to reduce the amount of germs they come in contact with
Stay ahead of illness and keep your family healthy! Check out the full newsletter for important school health reminders and updates.
