Mes de la Herencia Hispana

Over the past few weeks, our Lower School students have been exploring Spanish-speaking countries around the world. They’ve learned to locate these countries on the map and discovered the symbols that represent each one.
As an extended activity, first graders crafted crowns featuring animals symbolic of different countries. Other grades contributed to a collaborative mural showcasing the flags of these countries, creating a beautiful backdrop that honors our students of Hispanic descent.
It has been a joyful and educational celebration, and while Hispanic Heritage Month is coming to an end, our cultural explorations are just beginning. Perú, Argentina, and Mexico are just a few of the countries our students have been exploring or will soon dive into.
