All aboard the Orient Express! Welcome to Foote School's 7th and 8th grade play production of Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie. In this adaptation for the stage by Ken Ludwig, our student performers and technicians will present to you a murder mystery full of comedy, suspense, and memorable characters, including Christie's most famous detective, Hercule Poirot.
In 1934, the luxury train The Orient Express departs from Istanbul, carrying passengers from around the world across Europe. Overnight the train finds itself caught in a snowdrift, and by morning, there is one passenger fewer. It is up to the famous detective Hercule Poirot to uncover the truth, before the murderer strikes again.
This performance is recommended for ages 10 and above. The content includes conversations about a gun (fake prop) and the murder, which does not take place onstage.
