Middle School Mathletes Finish First in CT

Foote Middle School students participated in this year's New England Math League Contest, a 30-question multiple choice test tailored to each grade-level. 

6th Grade

Out of 38 New England schools, Foote finished 4th; out of the six schools that participated in Connecticut, Foote finished in 1st place.

Individual noteworthy scores:

Kelly Chaine — 4th in New England, 1st place in CT

Griffin Smart — 18th in New England, 2nd in CT

8th Grade

Out of 32 New England schools, Foote finished 17th, and 2nd place in Connecticut. 

Individual noteworthy score:

Matthew El Fakhri — 19th in New England, 1st place in Connecticut
