MathCounts Competition Results

Twelve Foote Middle School math masters headed to the annual MathCounts Chapter Competition at Yale on Feb. 14, facing New Haven-area teams in individual and team math competitions. Representing the sixth grade were Radhika, Adam, Emma, Kelly, Alex Messing, and Keshav; seventh graders were Arden and Erica; eighth grade competitors were Tristan, Dar, Gabriel, and Daniel.

The team of Kelly, Tristan, Gabriel, and Daniel finished in 4th place and qualified for the State competition in March, as did Alex, who qualified during the individual round.
