Help Clean Up Our Coast — Sept. 28

Do you care about the environment? Want to help clean it up? Now is your chance! Help clean up our coast while learning about our local ecosystems by participating in Foote's semi-annual coastal clean up!

Saturday, September 28
9:30–11:30 a.m.
Pond Lily Nature Preserve
Parking along 42 E Ramsdell St., New Haven

Meet at Pond Lily Nature Preserve and spend the morning picking up trash while exploring the riverside ecosystem of this city park. This event is voluntary but we're hoping for a great Foote turnout!

We will provide buckets and trash bags, however, Foote is not providing transportation. Participants can meet at the park’s main parking area. All students must be accompanied by an adult (and we hope you'll show your school spirit by wearing Foote gear!).

What you should bring:

  • Work gloves
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Water bottles
  • Close-toed shoes
