Leading in their own way.

In every grade, we offer opportunities for students to gain confidence, test their limits, and define leadership on their own terms. Our students learn to advocate for themselves and others.

Plan, build, experiment, explore.

There’s a lot of learning by doing: experimenting, collaborating, revising. Students are always digging deeper, asking hard questions, looking for new challenges.

Learning from our place.

On our park-like campus, in our neighborhood and our city, in communities near and far, we learn from the landscape, the natural history of a place, the people who have inhabited it, the layers of culture within it.

May Day
Flourishing within our community

The power of our school is the presence of our people: how we find joy and wonder in the process of engaging with one another, how we honor our differences and celebrate our shared values.

Inspiring Leaders

Our future is one that leads with compassion and courage, embraces diversity and discovery, and encourages students to be their authentic selves.
