Parent Teacher Council 2011-2012
The Parent Teacher Council is a link between the school and its families – a support group for all facets of the school community. Through its many committees, members serve as room parents, host families, library volunteers, helpers
at vision and hearing screenings and more.
The PTC also sponsors a
variety of social activities and fundraisers that bring Foote familes together throughout the year and provide funding for a number of school activities.
THE FOOTE PTC NEEDS YOU –
Please consider getting involved.
Consider this. In 2010 - 2011, the PTC:
- Funded the Summer Read Aloud Program that provides a book to EACH child in grades K-4
- Sponsored and funded the Fall Family Fun Day and the Book Fair
- Hosted the Fall Dinner
- Organized Photo Day, Fall Book Fair, Book Swap,and Movie Outings
- Purchased vision screening equipment and organized vision screening
- Organized the Lost and Found for display at assemblies
- Funded field trips such as Deer Lake and upcoming trips
- Provided monies for faculty development, technology enhancement, and emergency scholarships
… and we couldn’t have done it without YOU!
In fact, every child directly benefits in some way from the investment of time, energy, enthusiasm and resources of the many parents, grandparents, and guardians who are part of the Foote School PTC.
To become active, simply e-mail PTC Secretary Lisa Rebeschi, and your name will be added to the active membership list.

HELP FOOTE WHILE YOU SHOP WITH
STOP & SHOP CARDS
The PTC still offers Stop and Shop gift cards, but now you also have the option to register your Stop & Shop card so that Foote earns cash each time you shop. Simply click on www.stop& shop.com/aplus. Be sure to use the Foote School ID # 08832.
You can also register you card by phone at 1-877-275-2758.
This is a way to raise money for the Foote School PTC without spending any extra money yourself! Just purchase the cards through us or sign up online, and use in the store instead of cash (or online at Peapod). We earn $5 for each $100 card you buy – no extra cost to you!
As always, gift cards are available for purchase in the Development Office, usually open from 8:30 a.m. -5 p.m.

There's no event this year, but you can still order Innisbrook Gift and Gift Wrap all year round and the PTC will be credited with 50 percent of your total purchase. Be sure to enter the school code:ID #104739. Innisbrook offers an array of high-quality gift items as well as wrapping papers and accessories for all occasions.
