LOST & FOUND TABLE
Sandine Theater
Nov. 5 - 12


The Lost & Found bin in the Main Building has been overflowing. To make it easy to retrieve items, the school has set up a Lost & Found table in the back of the Sandine Theater. It is open through Thursday evening, Nov. 12, including during scheduled Middle School Parent Conference times. The only time it will be closed is during drama classes and play reheasals. Please stop by.
Clothing not retrieved by November 12 will be donated to charity.






ANNUAL BOOK FAIR

Foote Day at RJ Julia Booksellers in Madison
Sat., Nov. 7

20% of the value of all purchases will go to Foote.
Booktalk will be given by RJ Julia staff at 4 p.m.


Book Fair at Foote School
Mon., Nov. 9 – Wed., Nov. 11
Twichell Room

25% of the value of all purchases will go to Foote.
Morning coffee will be served until 9 a.m. You may park on the playing field adjacent ot the Hosley Gym until 9 a.m.

Hours:
Monday:       8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuesday:       8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.


BOOK FAIR PIZZA & ICE CREAM SOCIAL WITH CHILDREN'S POET LAUREATE

Wed., Nov. 11 from 5 - 8 p.m
Hosley Gym


Please plan to attend Family Pizza and Ice Cream Social with noted author and Children's Poet Laureate Mary Ann Hoberman, who was named Children's Poet laureate in 2008 and serves through 2010. She is the author of more than 40 children's books including The Seven Silly Eaters; You Read to Me, I'll Read to You; Very Short Stories to Read Together; and The Tree That Time Built. Many of her books will be on sale at the event and can be signed by the author.

Please RSVP to events@wildridge.org so the parent organizers will have an idea of the attendance numbers for food ordering.

ECO-FRIENDLY FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
NOV. 13 -30


The PTC is participating in an eco-friendly fundraising program with the help of Mother Earth Fundraising.

Shop between Nov. 13 – 30 and Foote will receive 40% of the sales profit.

Shop any other time in the year and Foote will receive 25% of the sales profit.

The Mother Earth Fundraising website features items like 100% recycled gift wrap, reusable shopping bags, organic baking mixes, soy candles, fair-trade items, and eco-friendly household and personal products.

NOTES:

• Fri., Nov. 13 is Professional Development Day for Foote faculty and staff.
No school; No Vacation Program

• The Vision & Hearing Screening is postponed until after the winter break.

• School Nurse Maryanne Peterson reminds families to keep sick children at home. Children who are home sick should check in with Maryanne when they return to school before reporting to the classrooms.

• The front desk staff asks parents to please call the school each day their child is absent.
In addition, please call if your child will be late; or have your child check in with the front desk when he or she arrives on campus.
