WEEK AT A GLANCE on the web

We are sending E-News one day early this week to provide Parents Night information.This issue of Week at a Glance covers Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, October 3.

Reminder: hard copies of Week at a Glance are sent home with students in K – 3. Everyone else can access the information on the school website. (Hard copies are available at the Front Desk).


TOMORROW, 9/24, IS PARENTS NIGHT

Parking:
The Soccer Field behind the Hosley Gym is available for parking.
Parents can enter off Highland Street, right next to Calvin Hill Daycare.

Schedule:

5:30 to 7:25
– Grades 6-9
Parents begin in their child's homeroom and follow an abbreviated class schedule.
Middle School schedules are being sent home today (Wednesday) with the students. Your child's advisor will have a duplicate copy for reference.

5:45
– Grades K-3
Parents start in the Sandine Theater
– Grades 4-5
Parents start in the Perrine Library

6:15 to 7:20
– Grades K-5
Classroom Presentations for parents

Note: Parents will receive their 2009-2010 school directories in their youngest child's classroom.

Buffet dinner:
The PTC is sponsoring a buffet dinner in the Hosley Gym immediately following the classroom meetings. $10 per person or bring a dessert. Download the RSVP. Remember, Parents Night is just for parents.


CHINESE DELEGATION TO ARRIVE SEPTEMBER 30

For the third year in a row, a delegation of students and teachers from Yali Middle School, our sister school in Changsha, China will be visiting Foote. They will be interacting with students in every grade during their three-day visit. Look for more details in next week's E-News.



MEETING FOR PARENTS OF 8TH GRADERS

A meeting to discuss the 9th Grade program is planned for October 5 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Sandine Theater. Look for details in an e-mail.
