"GET CAUGHT READING" ON DEC. 8:
PAJAMA PARTY & MORE
Next Tuesday, December 8, the Student Council is championing our "Get Caught Reading" time to be a pajama party. The whole school will stop everything and all students will read for 20 minutes with their buddy classes.
Also, we are asking that each child bring a new or barely used book to school that day. The books will be gathered and distributed to a charity such as "New Haven Reads" or "Read to Grow."
We encourage children to wear pajamas (appropriate pajamas!) to school. Remember, the rest of the day will be a regular school day.
This should be lots of fun and a good way to promote reading and help those less fortunate.
