THANKSGIVING ASSEMBLY

• All parents are welcome to join us in the Hosley Gym (seating limited) for the Thanksgiving assembly.
• It is not a major performance, but rather a chance to come together as a community.
• The assembly includes:
    – 7th graders in Early American dress
    – 7th graders performing "Amazing Grace"
    – Tradition: MAG singing "Over the River and Through the Woods"
    – Sixth grade leading motions to an all school sing-a-long
    – All school song




COMMUNITY SERVICE CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Mon., Tues., & Wed., Nov. 23 - 25

Please bring canned food to Foote. It will be donated to the needy, including a local children's shelter.

Donation boxes are in the front office and the Hosley Gym.
Help fill John Cunningham's truck, and he will deliver the cans on Wednesday afternoon.

PS: Kudos to Community Service! The group raised $1,207.05 for UNICEF from 169 Foote families.

ECO-FRIENDLY FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
RUNS THROUGH NOV. 30


The PTC's eco-friendly fundraising program is now in progress.

• Shop on-line at Mother Earth Fundraising between Nov. 13 – 30
   and Foote will receive 40 percent of the sales profit.
• Shop any other time in the year and Foote will receive 25 percent of the sales profit.

The Mother Earth Fundraising Web site includes 100 percent recycled gift wrap, reusable shopping bags, organic baking mixes, soy candles, fair-trade items, and eco-friendly household and personal products.

Secondary School Placement – Recommendation forms due

Math and English teacher recommendations for students who are applying out for next year should be hand-delivered to their respective teachers no later than Wed., Nov. 25. School recommendation forms should be given to Becky McGuire, registrar, by the same date.
