MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEETING

Tues., Dec. 1 at 7p.m. – Perrine Library

"Multiculturalism is the shift that occurs when we stop defining everyone by one cultural norm and move to an understanding of multiple norms." — NAIS website

Come and join the Multicultural Affairs Committee on Dec. 1 to help continue Foote's long tradition of embracing all norms. Open to all, this committee is the largest in the school, composed of faculty, parents, administrators and Board Members. At our first meeting this year, we will discuss issues the Foote community would like to address in terms of diversity and inclusivity, as well as the Committee's participation in fun events such as the Chinese New Year celebration.

Please RSVP to Donna Batsford (director of financial aid) or Zehra Patwa (Board member and currect parent) . If you are unable to attend this meeting, we welcome you to share your ideas for discussion with either Donna or Zehra via e-mail or in person.

Co-chairs, Multicultural Affairs Committee
