On Bingo Night, the Hosley Gym doors open at 5 p.m. There will be lots of food and beverages for sale including pizza, grinders, wraps, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and popcorn. Please remember that each child should have a parent present at Bingo Night. If you are unable to attend with your child, please make arrangements for another adult to supervise him or her. Note for parents of boys and girls lacrosse players and baseball players: The lacrosse teams are due back from their away games at 6:30 p.m.; baseball returns at 7 p.m. If your athlete plans to stay on campus for Bingo Night, remember to bring money for him or her. If you can't attend and cannot get an envelope with money to the supervising adult, please send the envelope to school in the morning, and ask your child to leave it at the Front Desk. Mark the envelope clearly with your child's name; address it to Ann Baker Pepe's attention. She will take it to the gym and get it to your child.
The Foote Family Cookbook is available for $20 each at the front desk. You may also send your check – made out to the Foote School PTC – to the PTC, care of the Foote School and we'll set your book aside for pick up. And the cookbook will be on sale at the May Day Picnic, too. The book has an introduction by cookbook author and celebrity chef Jacques Pépin and is filled with recipes submitted by Foote students, teachers, staff, parents and grandparents. Several recipes have been cooked in Foote classrooms with the children, so the cookbook should bring back wonderful memories. Illustrations include food drawings by Foote students.
