A long-standing Foote tradition in which the Maroon teams compete against the Grey on Rike Field (Highland St.) for the year's bragging rights will take place May 7! (Rain date, May 8.)

There will be a limited number on sale starting Monday, May 5. $15 each. See any ninth grade advisor.

Families are most welcome at Field Day.
Dogs are not. Please leave your dogs at home!

FOOTE FAMILY COOKBOOK AVAILABLE ON FIELD DAY

Just in time for Mother’s Day, the Foote Family Cookbook will be sold for $20 on Field Day at the PTC table.

The book, with an introduction by Jacques Pépin, is filled with recipes submitted by Foote students, teachers, staff, parents and grandparents. Several recipes have been cooked in Foote classrooms with the children, so the cookbook should bring back wonderful memories. Illustrations include food drawings by Foote students.

Pépin, cookbook author and celebrity chef, submitted three recipes and wrote a lovely introduction about the pleasures of sharing meals and the comforts of kitchens. 

The Foote Family Cookbook makes a terrific keepsake as well as a thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day, bridal showers, birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion.

                 5:30 p.m. in the Perrine Library.

COME TO THE PTC MAY MEETING

All parents and faculty members are welcome at the next PTC meeting on Tuesday, May 6 at 3:15 in the Sturley Room.  The PTC is planning lots of exciting events for the remainder of the year, such as Family Bingo Night, the May Day picnic and DVD, and the Faculty Breakfast.

Dary Dunham will have updates about the school, and there will be a recap of “starry starry night.”

Please note that this month’s meeting is on Tuesday, instead of the usual Wednesday. Your children may attend the After School Program at no cost while you are at the meeting if they are not already enrolled. Please contact Dawn Walsh.

We offer more than 30 programs for students in pre-school, elementary school, middle school and high school over six week-long sessions beginning June 23 and ending August 1. Click here for details.
