PTC/FOOTE SCHOOL ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING Featured speaker: Akhil Reed Amar P '16, '14 Akhil Amar, Southmayd Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale Law School, whose course in Constitutional Law has inspired hundreds of Yale undergraduates, will share his insights and observations regarding the upcoming presidential election. Akhil was recognized in March with the William Clyde Devane Award for Distinuguished Teaching and Scholarship. His most recent book is America's Constitution: A Biography. Please plan to gather at 7 p.m. in the Sandine Theater. Coffee and dessert will be served prior to the brief business portion of the evening. GET INVOLVED – Become a PTC Representative The PTC is looking for NEW members. If you are interested in becoming a Parent Representative, please email Catherine Sbriglio, PTC Secretary, at csbrig@aol.com by Monday, April 21. All parents or guardians of current students automatically belong to the PTC. Members who choose to become Parent Representatives are nominated in the spring to begin a two-year term the following fall. As a PTC Parent Representative, you agree to serve on PTC committees, your name is included in the Foote School Directory as an active member, and you will receive e-mail communications regarding regular PTC business. The PTC Executive Board sincerely appreciates the participation of each and every Parent Representative. It is only through the active support and effort of the membership that we can provide our school and our children with the many activities and opportunities that are funded by the PTC. SUMMER PROGRAM We offer more than 30 programs for students in pre-school, elementary school, middle school and high school over six week-long sessions beginning June 23 and ending August 1.
