Promote Safety, Prevent Gridlock

To all families and their designated drivers:

Safety is our top priority! The school has two full-time security guards who monitor pedestrian and vehicular traffic at arrival and dismissal times. In addition, Mr. Farley is the crossing guard at the corner of Highland St. and Loomis Place.  Please respect their efforts to direct traffic and keep things safe and observe the following rules:

  • Enter Loomis Place from Highland Street at all times.
  • Leave or pick up children on the school side of the street only.
  • Exit onto Canner Street.
  • Double parking and U-turns are prohibited.
  • Students may be dropped off at the circle in the faculty lot on Canner Street.  Please do not park in this lot or in the circle.
  • When walking your child through the Canner Street lot, please use the sidewalk on the eastern side of the parking lot.

All children who ride buses to Foote will be dropped off and picked up at the circle in the Canner Street parking lot.

Help Us Be Good Neighbors

When parking on Loomis Place, use the school side of the street, and be mindful of driveways and street signs.  Our school is located in a residential neighborhood; please help us to be good neighbors when parking on Loomis Place, and be especially mindful for weekend and evening events.  (One neighbor is wheelchair bound; others must park at least one car on the street.) Final note: The residential side requires a sticker and parking there may result in a ticket or towing.

BINGO NIGHT NEWS

The PTC is still collecting donations for Bingo Night, on May 16. We have raised over half of the money that we need to buy the prizes, but we need a little more help. Please give the donations to your child's teacher to be put in the Bingo envelopes in the classrooms. If anyone has any questions contact Christine Chiocchio or Kate Gillis. Thanks to all who have contributed already!

LIBRARY NEEDS A PHOTOCOPIER

Are you upgrading office equipment or downsizing a business? The Perrine Library is looking for a donation of a photocopier. Contact Karen Longa.
