Head of School Search Consultants' Visit Rescheduled

The school's consultants, Linc Eldredge and Jessica Cockrell of Brigham Hill Consultancy, will be on campus January 23 and 25. Parent meetings are re-scheduled for:

Wed., Jan. 23 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. – Sandine Theater.
Thurs., Jan. 24 from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. – Sandine Theater.

The Head of School Search Committee strongly encourages parents to take the time to meet with Linc and Jessica. The better they come to know Foote, the better they will be able to help us find a great new Head.

The MAG Parent Coffee, scheduled for Thursday, January 24 is cancelled and will be rescheduled shortly.

Music Substitute Teacher Named

You may have noticed an extra music teacher around campus lately.  Her name is Caroline Page and she will be taking over for Liz Reed-Swale when Liz goes on maternity leave in mid-February.

Caroline is a recent graduate of Yale University's Music program and teaches violin in Foote's after-school program. She has been subbing for various music classes this winter.  In order to have the smoothest possible transition in the Kindergarten through 3rd grade music room, Caroline will be here full-time beginning February 4 and will teach until Liz returns in May.

Multicultural Affairs Committee Meeting –
Tuesday, January 2

All welcome.

The stated mission of the Multicultural Affairs Committee is to promote a faculty and student community diverse in economic, cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds; to help provide the best possible educational environment; and to support a multicultural curriculum designed to gain an appreciation of human differences and eliminate prejudice.  This committee is made up of faculty and parents.  The meetings are open to all who are interested. Donna Batsford is chair.

We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 29, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Perrine Library. This will be an open discussion of ways the various constituencies in our community can support diversity and make our community comfortable for all members. Please join us.
