Grandparents Day Volunteers Needed Many parent volunteers are needed to ensure that Grandparents Day, Oct. 5, runs smoothly. Whether you can dedicate an hour or the entire morning, your help in greeting grandparents, ushering them to classrooms and monitoring refreshments will be greatly appreciated. Foote Authors The Foote Book Fair Committee would like to include books written by people affiliated with Foote in this year's Book Fair Catalog and at the Authors Reception. Authors who are Foote parents, faculty, graduates, or parents of graduates and are interested in participating should contact Bobbi Irving. Please include the book's title, author and ISBN number. Learn About Ninth Grade at Foote October 10 October 17 Reminder: Ninth graders are excused from ERBs – Nov. 7 and 8 this year. Foote School Wall Calendar Some of you may be aware that the "June" page in the Foote School Wall Calendar (Art Calendar) has incorrect information for the first two weeks of that month. (The information on the School Year Calendar on the website and on the two-page calendar mailed to everyone is correct.) To simplify things, we've printed up "peel and stick" patches with the correct information and will distribute patches to parents (with their Foote School Directory) on Parents Night. Directories and patches will be mailed to parents who aren't able to attend.
