Footebridge: Teacher Training
Teachers gather for training in literacy and classroom management a week before the students come.
Teachers learn curriculum and techniques through role playing.
Teachers keep daily records and prepare new lessons for their reading groups. They also meet weekly as a group to strategize and plan and discuss educational issues.
Lessons include teacher-made games to reinforce skills and provide a change of pace.
