Footebridge: Daily Schedule
Most children come to Footebridge by bus.
Footebridge children receive New Haven's free breakfast and lunch program.
As children finish breakfast and lunch they have Quiet Book Time.
Morning Meeting begins the day with calendar, conversation, and plans for the day.
Children are divided into many small reading groups so they can learn at their own level.
A variety of Centers provide multiple opportunities for sensory exploration and language development.
Before lunch and dismissal the children explore the outdoors during Recess.
The children gather for story after lunch and Quiet Book Time.
Language activities include journal writing, retelling stories, and
individualized daily messages home.
At three o'clock the children board the bus for home, daily messages in hand.
