After Foote

Students leave Foote with a globally inspired education and a sense of having contributed to a community that valued them and supported their journey from childhood to young adulthood. Each family benefits from thorough secondary school counseling, ensuring the best possible option for the student. The most common choices in recent years have been area independent high schools. Many students also select independent boarding schools and public high schools. Feedback from high schools and colleges indicates that Foote alumni enjoy a high degree of academic success and involvement in student life. Our graduates include playwrights, scientists, journalists, college presidents, restaurateurs, judges, athletes, engineers, diplomats and more.

Many alumni cite Foote as their most formative educational experience, leading them to fulfilling careers in the arts, sciences, humanities and more. This woodblock print by Foote alumna Nara Giannella ‘01 was inspired by her visit to a Japanese city with her name, Nara, and reflects the inner peace she found there.
